Product Review - FishGillz Sunglasses

Jeff Taylor of Corona Del Mar, California has pursued his passion and dream of inventing and manufacturing high quality sunglasses that actually float in the water. He has achieved his goal with the invention of the FishGillz sunglasses. Some people say that sunglasses are a “dime a dozen”, but serious outdoorsmen, fishermen and any type of water enthusiast would be quick to dispute that statement. I have personally lost several pairs of what I considered to be decent sunglasses in the water, but after having experienced the comfort, functionality and durability of these quality glasses, the dime store models are no longer sufficient.
The fact that FishGillz sunglasses float is most certainly a positive feature, but they also provide 100% UVA/UVB protection for your eyes. Comfort is another important requirement for sunglasses and the FishGillz weighing only one-half ounce, pass this category with flying colors. The sunglasses also have a wrap around feature that prevents glare and help to prevent wind or dirt from entering from the side of your eyes. An avid fisherman such as myself can also appreciate the high quality polarized lenses which allow almost a magical view below the surface of the water. The comfort, quality, durability and features of the product speak for themselves, but additional bonuses are shipped with each order of FishGillz sunglasses. Each order of FishGillz is shipped with a floating and padded nylon case and a 5 X 7" micro-fiber lens cleaning cloth The floating case can be used for storing your regular glasses or other valuables while wearing your FishGillz on the water. The micro fiber lens cleaning cloth does an excellent job of keeping your lenses clear without worrying about scratches or smudges.
The FishGillz Sunglass Company actually only began in January of 2007, but is already one of the fastest growing sunglass companies in the United States and has distributors in Canada, Australia, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Iceland and Sweden. Good news about good products travel fast and I am certainly a fan of the new FishGillz sunglasses. I applaud ontrepanuers such as Jeff Taylor, who was originally from a blue collar neighborhood in Baltimore, Maryland and had the vision and the drive to produce a high quality product that is needed and beneficial to not only outdoorsmen, but general sunglass wearers as well. I have personally worn the FishGillz sunglasses everyday for the last two months in my travels and on multiple fishing trips and YES, have dropped and retrieved them from the water on one occasion. They do float!
The FishGillz sunglasses are available in several different styles and retail for $49.00 to $59.00. Please contact The FishGillz Sunglass Company at (760) 771-9145 or visit www.FishGillz.com for more information and to order.
