Affiliate Program FAQ's

Listed below are some of the commonly asked questions about our Affiliate Program. Please contact us directly if your questions are not fully answered here.

Q. "What does it cost to join your program?"

A. Our Affiliate program is completely free to join. There are no membership fees or any charges whatsoever. 

Q. "How long does it take to process my application?"

A. We have a fully automated system for processing applications. We require some basic information from you which you can complete here at our web site. Your account details and startup information will be emailed to you just a few seconds after you submit your application. 

Q. "When do I start earning commissions?"

A. A few minutes after you make your application you will be ready to start promoting our products. Once a sale is validated by us, usually within 48 hrs, the commission is calculated and credited to straight to your account.

Q. "When will I receive my first check from you?"

A. All our checks are mailed at the start of a new month for commissions accumulated in the past month. To reduce accounting and mailing costs we set a minimum check amount of $50.00. If you have not generated sufficient sales in the month to earn the minimum $50.00 commission check, then your sales and commissions will be rolled over to the next month and so on, until you reach the minimum level.

Q. "Will I be an 'employee' of FishGillz USA INC?"

A. No. You will be an independent 'Affiliate' or 'Contractor', therefore responsible for your own business affairs, taxation etc. 

Q. "How do my sales get tracked and credited to me?"

A. We use a fully automated tracking system that utilizes sophisticated tracking methods, ensuring all your sales and referrals are credited to your account. We generate a unique web site address (link) that you use to send prospective customers to our site. You can display this link on your web site or advertise it in all manner of conventional ways like email, off-line stationary etc. Each time a visitor 'clicks' on your link, or enters it into their browser, they carry with them your unique Affiliate ID tracking number. As they place an order at our site, your ID tracking number is recorded and you are credited with the sale. The unique link containing your number is assigned to you after you apply for the affiliate program. 

Q. "how do I qualify for the second level commission (5%)?"

A. If you refer a someone to our site via your link, and they subsequently join our program as Affiliates, you will automatically be credited a 5% commission on every sale they make.

Q. "How do I incorporate your program into my existing web site?"

A. You have complete control over how you market our products through your site and we give you a number of options to chose from. You can chose from one of our banners to display on your site, which will link to our site, or you can just have a text link to us directly from your home page. We have various other ways to promote your program which you can read about from within your private administration area after sign up. If you have a web site we recommend that you display your link to us on the home page, as this has the highest exposure to your visitors, and therefore will generate more traffic and commissions for you. We also have full page text ads that you can copy to your site and generate commissions directly.

Q. "How do you calculate commissions?"

A. Commissions are based on the net value of the sale, which includes deductions for shipping and any discounts or promotions.
